Course objectives
The courses is considered to be an introduction for the prospective teachers and aims its attention to theoretical and methodological concepts concerning the formation of individuals personality in individual and socializing contexts. At the end of the course the student will be able to: - understand the basic terminology of the subject - explain the relationships and connections between particular aspects of the subject - use the information acquired in the subject to expand one’s own perspective of the issues studied - create a database of basic technical terms and their mutual relationships - present points of view well-argued on the basis of newly acquired knowledge

  • 1. Conception of global education. 2. Theory and methodics of education during pedagogical studies. 3. Normative and situation concept of education. 4. Discipline and orderlines as social and educational phenomena. 5. School class climate. 6. Aggressiveness and chicane as educational problems. 7. Influence of family for childs education. 8. Educational activities of form teacher. 9. Conception and means of alternative education. 10. Healthy school. 11. Game as an educational tool. 12. Child at the sphere of social influences.

Teaching methods
- theoretical preparation in the form of a seminar with an emphasis on a discussion of relevant issues and independent work on the seminar extended essay - theoretical preparation in the form of a seminar with an emphasis on current educational issues and demanding teaching situations
Assessment methods
seminar, credit - a seminar extended essay of 5 pages submitted both in the electronic form and a hard copy to the teacher at a date agreed - a presentation of a seminar task with an outline in the student’s own words of about 15 minutes of length - regular seminar attendance
