Course objectives
The aim of the tutoring is to improve the marks of children and also it would like to influence the attitude towards the school. Individual tutoring, especially for the focus group of Romany children, should be organized minimally every week for 2 hours directly in the family background of the selected child
Syllabus
  • Individual tutoring, whose target group are the Roma children (from Brno-center sites, Židenice, Husovice) should take place every week - directly at   2h family environment chosen child. These children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds generally attend Merhautova school, elementary school and Horseradish Nam 28th October, where they work and cooperate with us! assistant teachers, the parents and forward them to address their demands. Teachers (rtf) is in contact with     teaching assistants, students submit an offer children tutoring, the student chooses a child by his approbation, and studied the possibilities and then arrange a first meeting with the family  , which may assist in the teaching assistant or field social worker nonprofit organization with which the Department of Interior   closely. Students should take place regularly in the family and prepare the child to school  , to assist in homework, taught by explaining the substance, possibly preparing for entrance examinations selected high school or college. The tutoring is individual approach, which includes regular communication with parents! Class teachers and children, which can be secured through the "diary" (which corresponds with the student teacher and makes the MU student feedback has - determines whether a child can handle the current curriculum, what should be addressed and whether the apparent progress). It is also possible via the communication assistant teacher of the school where the child is. The student is in frequent contact with     family, so the student is also able to raise interest among parents and school! Show them how to give a child. Students keep a daily log, which recorded their reflections from tutoring  . You can describe their experiences and expertise with   extra-curricular teaching, tutoring continues as the student feels at   the family of the child, how to communicate with the child or parent   teacher. Diary of the teacher is to be submitted and a condition for admission to   colloquium, bringing together all students doučující children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds get together and talk about their experiences  ,   feelings of tutoring and propose recommendations for improving the activity and education of these children. Students with any problem or difficulty immediately inform the teacher or sponsor, and of course   it will be decided by the (eg to obtain the tutoring another child). Students will also be offered monthly supervision and consultation with teachers and     cases   the problems of children with learning disabilities (or other) may also consult with our special education teacher  , which is addressed to those needs.

Assessment methods
Students keep a daily log, where their reflections collected from   tutoring. You can describe their experiences and expertise with   extra-curricular teaching, tutoring continues as the student feels at   the family of the child, how to communicate with the child or parent   teacher. Further instructions and requirements for the form   journal will be announced at the first meeting with the teacher   and for the needs, issues and advice the students will create an e-learning classes, where students can also pass on their impressions of colleagues   tutoring or advise others how to behave in   various situations or problems.   In this e-learning lesson course will specify the conditions for granting   colloquium, or. entered the draft diaries of former students doučujících children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
