Course objectives
The aim of this course is to give ELT teacher trainees opportunities to see a variety of classroom teaching towards the beginning of their training. It is anticipated that their processing of the course content in other teaching training courses can be seen in the light of these classroom observations.

Please note that this course is being reintroduced in the Spring semester of 2014 and is targeted at trainees in their first year of the MA program.
Syllabus
  • Trainees are to make their own appointments with approved teachers. They need to see a variety of teaching situations in various schools, and different types of lessons. Lessons should be observed with observation tasks in mind. These can be found in the recommended literature. They will also be introduced during the Methodology 1 course.
