Course objectives
Students will be able to describe the emergence and development of guidance systems in the Czech Rep. and the world. They will be able to explain their patterns, analyze their strengths and weaknesses and be able to draw conclusions and contribution to the quality of curricular changes that take place in our education system. They will be able to apply counseling theory and counseling process with emphasis on cognitive behavioral approach.

  • Formation and development of guidance services in education in the CR and in the world (France, Germany, Austria, England, USA)
  • Student counseling and guidance in the context of school counseling services
  • Student counseling and gudance and its effect on the system at school
  • Counseling theory and counseling process with emphasis on recent theoretical concepts with emphasis on cognitive behavioral concepts
