- Course objectives
- Anatomy, histology and physiology of the periodontium. Etiology, epidemiology and genetic aspects of the parodontopathies. Classification of the parodontopathies. Clinical aspects of the parodontopathies: gingivitis, periodontitis, atrophy of the periodontium. Parodontopathy in children. Objective and X-ray examination of the periodontium. Diagnosis of the parodontopathies and their determination, the therapeutic plan. Therapy of the gingival and periodontal tissue: hygiene phase - professional removing and controlling of the plaque, occlusal trauma, corrective phase - scaling, root planing, periodontal surgery, principles of the plastic mucogingival and preprosthetic surgery, guided tissue and bone regeneration.

- Parodontologie II - Anatomy of periodontal diseases. - Microbiology aspect of the periodontal diseases - biofilm. Medicamentous treatment of the periodontal diseases. - Etiology and pathogenesis of inflamatory periodontal diseases. - Endo - perio lesions. Functional disturbances, occlusal trauma and practical occlusal adjustment.
