Course objectives
Main aims of course are improvement of students' technical akills and musical expression. Students are familiarised with all style periods and acquire skills for reading of new texts. Students are be able improvise accompaniment to the national folk songs and artificial songs and vocal exercices for singing praxis.
Syllabus
  • Playing the instrument – the piano: a) playing vocal exercises (5 types), chromatic modulations in all keys, accompaniment (T, D) in the left hand b) the basics of improvisation: accompaniments to 25 songs (10 songs of the 3rd grade and 15 songs of the 4th grade - creating the prelude, interlude, postlude - playing the songs in transpositions c) playing the piano composition

Type of education: practising. Attendance of the seminar 80%. Credit: 1) playing the vocal exercices 2) playing 75 songs (50+25), prelude, interlude, postlude, transpositions 3) playing the piano composition
