Course objectives
At the end of this course, students ahould be able to: specific development learning and behavioural disorders - determination, aetiology, symptomatics, diagnostics, methods of development of weaker functions by preschool children, weaker aspects in development of function of central nervous systém significant at beginning phase of education (reading, writing, calculating), reeducational care, prevention of behavoiural disorders, special methods for dyslexia,dysgraphia, discaltilia, dyspraxia, aids. At the end of this course the student will be able to: explain issues specific learning difficulties. Can different kinds of disorders characterized. Can propose cooperation with the professional consulting facilities. Is able to make a special pedagogical diagnosis SPU.

  • Special needs diagnosis - Characteristics, diagnostics - An overview of diagnostic methods - Corrective methods of special education - reedukace, compensation, rehabilitation Specific learning disorders and behavior - The course, etiology, classification and characteristics of each dysporuch - LMD, ADD, ADHD - The system of care for pupils with SPU, counseling - Education for pupils with SPU - the access, evaluation - Reedukace SPU Education of individuals with mental disabilities - Content and education conditions - RVP ZV - Annex governing education of students with mild mental disabilities - Down's syndrome - Autism Education individuals with sensory disabilities - Content and education conditions - Compensatory aids for the visually impaired - an overview - Principles approach to every pupil with sensory disabilities Education individuals with physical and multiple disabilities - Content and education conditions - Epilepsy, chronic diseases - Options aid or assistance Education of individuals with communication skills - Content and education conditions - Alternativní and augmentative communication Therapy in special educational care - Hipotarpie - Canisterapii etc.

Teaching methods
Teaching is in the form of theoretical training is complemented by documentary films, respectively lecture to practitioners.
Assessment methods
Seminar work - case report pupil with special educational needs - the scope of work 3 A4 pages, in a written test. For successful completion of this course is required 70 % of correct answers in the test.
