Teaching methods
The course is taught as a combination of lectures (theoretical background) and seminars (practical exercises). The class involves workshops where students present their own research projects.
Assessment methods
Students must hand in three assignments during the course: a summary of a selected empirical study; first part of their own research project (topic, theoretical context, hypotheses); second part of the project (operationalization, methodology). A complete project is a precondition for a final exam (written test).
