Course objectives
Students will be inform about basic components of live mass like macroelements, microelements, sugars, lipids and proteins. They will be able to orient in problems which regard biocatalyzers like vitamins, hormones, plant growth substances etc. They will understand information about food composition.
Syllabus
  • Elemental and matter composition of live mass.
  • sugars generally.
  • monosaccharides and their properies.
  • oligosaccharides, polysaccharides and heteroglykosides.
  • lipides, their division and roles.
  • neutral lipides, waxes, polar lipides, sterols, lipoproteins etc.
  • proteins, their construction and roles.
  • amino acids and their division, peptides and proteins.
  • biocatalyzers and their division.
  • separate groups of biocatalyzers: vitamins, hormones, plant growth substances etc.
  • A personal study: There will be the most difficult part of subject matter lecture in every section and offices will be order for personal study. Check on offices is include in final examination.
