Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
To provide knowledge dealing with mental/psyché training of tennis players during life-span: since childhood (and talent detection) up to period of involution. The role of the coach.
Syllabus
  • 1. Reflexion of the topics - license B. 2. Dynamic processes, emotion-motivation, emotional competencies. 3. Aspiration, arousal, need for achievement. 4. Psychic loading, reactions, coping. 5. Mental skills, mental training, principles of the training. 6. Giftedness, motor talent, detection, identification, formation. 7. Dyad: coach - tennis player: individual vers. team leadership. 8. Approach of theory of transition: phase of involution, dual career. 9. Humanitarian projects, phenomenon of the ambassadorship.

Interactive lectures. Demonstration. Case studies analyses. Self - preparation.
Assessment methods
Case study - analyses (written). Analyses of the loading situation (situation of practice). Exam - oral.
