Course objectives

P 851 Nordic Walking is a new sport in our country and is ranged in hiking. It is walking with sticks and the course is a continue of p937. 40% of the exerted work can be shifted from lower to upper limbs thanks to the sticks ( the correct walking technique is very important). The weight spreading to all limbs and the consequent unweight of knee and hip joints is a great advantage of this sport as well as the straighting character of the move and spinal unweight.

• PE organisation safety maesures technique of the stick use walking technique trips principles of right outfit and equipment(clothes, shoewear, sticks) pulse control as the indicator of the body fitness

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Typ výuky - cvičení, Zakončení - zápočet. Zápočet je studentům udělen za docházku, která musí mít určitou kvalitu: - 1x možná absence bez omluvy - 2x institucionální omluvenka - 3x si může student nahradit výuku ve zkouškovém období - student musí mít více než 50% přímou účast na výuce Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time
