The course is geared for obligatory PE only. The interest in outdoor training is welcome.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: - understand and explain the content of outdoor activities; - work with information from sphere of outdoor activities ; - create own lesson of various activity in the nature ; - make reasoned decisions about outdoor activity; - interpret the knowledge from outdoor lesson ;
Syllabus
  • Thematic blocks: - basics of orientation in terrain and unfamiliar environment - orientation in easy conditions with orienteering maps - orientation competition in a larger area - low rope traverses - high rope traverses - basics of canoeing - improvement of canoe control technique - basics of bouldering - basics of roped climbing, rappel - bouldering - marked routes movement - nordic walking

- exercise, credit - the credit is given to students for the attendance - 3classes can be misses and there is no need of any apology - the substitution of more absence sis not allowed
