Course objectives
After graduation from „Canoeing“ is student able to:
-basicly handle canoe on slightly flowing water
-use proper mode of stright and reverse stroke on canoe
-aplicate right way arms and equipment made for canoing
-demonstrate basicly kayak paddle technique on slightly flowing water
Syllabus
  • Introduction to studies (credit requirements, literature)
  • Theory of technique on canoe on flat and slightly flowing water
  • Practical training of skills on slightly flowing water - technique of straight, reverse and draw stroke on canoe
  • Safety mowing in water terain, first aid
  • Arms and equipment made for canoing and kayaking

Teaching methods
Practical exercises and teoretical preparation.
Assessment methods
- exercise, credit - the credit is given to students for the attendance - 3classes can be misses and there is no need of any apology - the substitution of more absence sis not allowed
