Teaching methods
The course is taught as a series of seminars demonstrating critical work with literary texts of various genres. In the form of practical examples the case studies apply theoretical knowledge acquired by individual study to critical analysis proper. The lectures are interactive, expecting students' participation and an active involvement in the discussed examples.
Assessment methods
The assessment is based on the final written test and oral exam. The written test consists of the questions of basic term of theory of drama and of knowledge of basic literature (a passing score is 70%). The oral exam is based on the written test and consist also of analytical part of the exam.
