Course objectives
The course provides support to students working on their thesis proposal. Students will be taught how to develop a research proposal outlining all aspects of the planned work. The student must demonstrate the ability to work independently in understanding of the relevant scholarly literature and the ability to analyze the issue under study. Students are encouraged to discuss their thesis proposal intensively with their supervisors and other faculty members.
Learning outcomes
The course aims at enhancing the students’ capacity to plan independent research and to communicate this to the academic community.

Teaching methods
The course provides support to students working on their thesis proposal. There is a lecture organized in the semester to advise students in their research and explain requirements for diploma thesis.
Assessment methods
There are two obligatory requirements in the course:
1. Student shall present thesis proposal in the class to obtain feedback from senior researchers and supervisor.
2. Student shall upload thesis proposal into Homework folder. The proposal must be approved by the supervisor.
