Course objectives
The object of the course is to integrate students into the process of collective projecting. Due to the project students learn to treat the development and competitiveness of a destination in the real time. The project is based on a research/case study. The key point of the project is the interaction between Czech students and students from the University of South Carolina. The project results are mutually compared. At the end of the course students should be able • - to cooperate in a team; • - to realise its own research/case study; • - to process and analyse results of a research; • - to interpret the results; • - to express their own suggestions; • - to publicly present the results of their own research; • - to apply language knowledge.

Teaching methods
Lessons take form of seminars (once a fortnight) and individual preparation.
Assessment methods
For obtaining credits students must fulfil two requirements: • to submit the Project Report (the document summarises the results of the research/case study and provide suggestions); • to present the project. The quality of the Project is assessed by points. 60% is the minimum points for scoring the credits.
