Abstract: Graduation thesis „Analyse der Lehrmaterialien aus phonetischer Sicht: Phonetik in den tschechischen und deutschen Lehrmaterialien“deals with problems of teaching German pronounciation in selected textbooks for secondary school intermediate students. For description I used two schoolbooks: „Německy s úsměvem“ which is written by Czech authors and „Delfin“- which comes from German authors. In the theoretical part I stated charakteristics of the most important terms incl. problematic speech sounds. In the practical part of my thesis I analysed the textbooks and individual exercises. Also the advantages and disadvantages of both textbooks are mentioned.
