Kája Mařík was written in 1926-1931 by Felix Háj. (Felix Háj is the pseudonym of the writer Marie Wagnerová.) Kája Mařík is the cyclus of the storries about childhood of two children who live in the harmonic families of the huntsmann and gamekeeper in the beautifful nature of Brdy mountines. The boy Kája is very peculiar, he was edukated by the nature, therefor he is very healthy and merry. But he is the model of the well-mannered child too. His friends name is Zdena, she was weak and ill at first, but thanks Kája she became healthy too. The cyclus narrates about their childhood and its finished when Kája gets married with Zdena and when their two children was born. The cyclus was very popular in the 1930s, but during the communists totality it was prohibited. After 1989 this books can be published again. I would like to review the literary importance of these books and compare the result with the meanig of the literary critics in the 1930s, during the comminists totality and now. Then I would like to compare Kája Mařík with the another book of storries of the childhood, Gabra and Málinka which was written in 1935-42 by Amálie Kutinová. Her cyclus narrates about two very different sisters. Older Gabra is very merry and brave, younger Málinka is very sensitiv and queite. The storries are partly authobiografical, A. Kutinová is the younger of the sisters. The storries happen in Valašsko, the direct speech is realized by the dialekt. The cyclus was very popular in the time of the rise, but during the communists totality it was prohibited same as Kája Mařík. I would like to compare the both works and their reception by the readers and the critics.
