This work dwell on poetics of Věra Sládková, especially her
trilogy Malý muž a velká žena. It includes her writings to
context of the time and to the area of Czech literature. It
involves brief biography about authoress. The pieces of Věra
Sládková admonish of about problems of human being in the
fundamental moments of our history. It adverts to fate of
people from period of protectorate, during the World War and
closely afterwards. All her writing contain autobiographical
components. This work thinks of reactions from literary critic
and reasons for success of this trilogy.
