The diploma thesis deals with the application of historical
motion picture in teaching history. It is aimed to historically
analyse the motion picture Pianist, to didactically analyse
topic holocaust and to make a choice of didactically applicable
passages, to propose a lesson and verify a presumption that
pupils' cognitive process will be more concrete, effective and
complex with the application of audiovisual didactic means.
