This Diploma paper deals with a topic of an educated Romani
people approach to education and with what impact on their life
the education has had. My intention is to introduce through
this Diploma paper the history, traditions, values and
tradition profession of the Romani people. Then I mention
traditional „Romipen“ and the way od living of the Romani
people and the way of its changing in consequence of relations
between Roma national minority and a majority population in the
Czech republic. I also mention present problems of the Romani
people in the Czech republic as a consequence of the historical
development. Then I deal with the way of education from the
poin of view as the way of integration of the Romani people
into the society. In the empirical part od this Dimploma paper
I analyze the interviews with seven educated Romani people and
I observe, by what they were influenced in their approach to
education and what was the impact of education to their life.
