This study deals with proceeding at the Counstitutional Court and specific questions connected with the protection of human rights at this body. As a necessary introduction for understanding this study I generally describe human rights problem and position and competences of the Constitutional Court in the first two chapters. In the main chapter I deal with the most problematic questions of the proceeding at the Czech Constitutional Court as the principle of subsidiarity, general legal principles as a source of law, the concurrence of the constitutional complaint and the appeal and the obligatory character of adjudications of the Constitutional Court.
