The result of this thesis is a parser which has been developed
as part of the SCStudio application. The parser is used to
import message sequence chart from a textual file according to
the ITU-T standard. Introductions to the message sequence chart
and the SCStudio explain why an application such as the
SCStudio is important and why message sequence chart helps to
save resources and time of a development. This paper describes
a design process and actual behaviour of the parser.
