In My theses „The role of libraries in the Czech Republic in
the transition to information society within Europe union”
outlines the present situation of public libraries and their
possible development. I investigate strategic materials and
some recomendations at the national level and international
projects which are important for new services and forther
development of libraries. In conclusion I assess all facts
identified and think about future of libraries and quality of
services provided.
