Course objectives
This course is intended for students who want to become acquainted with and achieve practical experience in some basic principles of academic speaking, writing and effective international communication skills in English language. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to take an active part in formal and informal discussions and written communication in academic contexts of their interest, to account for and sustain their views; and to interact with a high degree of fluency and spontaneity.
Teaching methods
The participants are expected to take part in interactive projects and communicate with their counterparts from universities across the globe, such as National University of South (Argentina); University of Uppsala (Sweden) or University of New York in Shanghai (China).
