Course objectives
The goal of the course is to acquaint students with fundamental concepts and notions in psychology and to show their application to organizational a managerial practice.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- reproduce the main issues of the psychology and area of organizational behaviour;
- briefly describe meaning of basic psychological concepts and concepts from area of organizational behaviour respectively;
- describe selected problems of psychology and organizational behaviour;
- describe these problems in practical examples;
- describe and compare selected solutions to these problems.

Teaching methods
The class consits of a self-preparation done by student at home and a consultation held at the faculty. For each consultation student is obliged to review given topics (theoretical preparation). In the class the information is delivered in the form of a lecture joined with discussions or solving a case study. Student is handing in an seminar paper.
Assessment methods
Elaboration of two seminar papers with the aim to summarize, evaluate, and apply knowledge based on an academic paper, in each case by a pair of students.

The final written test consists of open questions with a time limit of 90 minutes. Classification scale ranges from A to F and the condition of a pass is that no question is classified with F.

Important information! Any copying, recording or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding grade "F" in the Information System, and the Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination.
