Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to introduce students the economic, political, institutional and legal framework of the Single Market of the European Union including main EU policies. The main field of interst will be the aims and effects of the Single Market, menthods and instruments of its formation and development. The subject also reviw the process of EU15 enlargement and prospects of the Single market and further enlargement together with the evaluation of the Czech Republic involvement in the Single Market. The strong impact will be placed on practical impacts of the Single Market on Czech companies, mainly SMEs.

  • 1. The process of the Singĺe Market development and the development of EU policies. 2. The effects and impacts of the Single Market - free movement of goods, services, persons and capital. 3. Czech companies on the Single Market.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Výuka bude probíhat ve formě přednášek a tutoriálů v návaznosti na osnovu předmětu. Kurz bude ukončen zkouškou, která bude mít formu písemného testu. V průběhu semestru zpracují studenti 1 POT (práci opravovanou tutorem) a její hodnocení bude zahrnuta do výsledné známky.
