Syllabus
  • The organisation/enterprise data model and its association to the corporate Business Process Model, component based approach to the organisation data modeling
  • Data modeling by using relational data model end by using the Chen's ERA model, modeling according SSADM, Prince, LBMS Systems Engineering methods
  • Logical base of DM, transparent intensional logic (TIL), episthemic base, functional approach, the sorts and the process of sortalization, function construction
  • Entity sorts, their identifying and definition, relationships and their modeling, expression of the semantics, hierarchy of supertypes and subtypes, the identity problem
  • Definability and decomposibility of attributes, information capability, binarisation theorem
  • Functional approach to data modeling based on TIL and the natural language analysis, the HIT method, discussion of case studies
