Syllabus
  • Objective: To present selected approaches to modelling parallelism by grammars and automata.
  • Contents: Besides usual language-theoretic problems the accent of the lecture will be on complexity issues and comparison of sequential and parallel models. The models presentsed will include, e.g., L-systems, parallel communicating grammars, and alternating automata.
