Výklad je zaměřen na základní makroekonomické pojmy a vztahy. Důraz je kladen na zejména na vztah ekonomického systému a státní hospodářské politiky, včetně mezinárodních ekonomických vazeb.

  • Explaining business cycles and growth.
  • Aggregate demand - aggregate supply model.
  • A simple model of the macroeconomy: the multiplier model.
  • Money and the financial system.
  • Determination of the interest rate.
  • Unemployment and inflation.
  • Monetary and fiscal policy.
  • International trade and the theory of comparative advantage.
  • Open economy macroeconomics: exchange rates, the balance of payments.
