Course objectives
The course is aimed at the digital photography processing techniques; it provides an overview of the restrictive and innovative qualities of the digital photography and discusses principles of the artistic digital image processing.
Syllabus
  • Restrictive qualities of digital photography (electronic components parameters, optical system parameters, lighting parameters, digital snapshot parameters).
  • Innovative qualities of digital photography (virtual optical systems, panorama scenes).
  • Digital photography correction (basics of image processing, geometric and color correction).
  • Digital image visual processing (geometric transformations, color transformations, filtering and collages, warping and morphing, special techniques).

Charakter výuky: přednášky na relevantní témata a praktické semináře (zpracování obrazu, virtuální optiky, skládání panoramat); samostatná práce (výtvarné zpracování digitální fotografie) ke kolokviu. / Course character: lectures in relevant topics accompanied with practical seminars (digital image processing, virtual optics, panorama stitching); creative assignment for colloquium accomplishment.
