Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of sport preparation, basic concepts, principles, effects, means, forms and methods used in sport preparation. Another goal is to teach students to apply different methods and forms of development of physical abilities in practice.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course "Sports Training" will be able to:
- interpret sports training bases;
- define basic concepts of conditioning and sports training;
- define basic forms and methods used in sports training;
- apply various methods,and forms of development of physical abilities in practice;
- describe the basic principles and the effects of strength, endurance, speed training and coordination skills training in the context of individual and team sports.
Syllabus
  • 01. Introduction + methods and forms of development speed capabilities in cyclical individual sports.
  • 02. Methods and forms of development speed capabilities of the aliphatic individual sports and team sports mixed character.
  • 03. Developing explosive strength (plyometrics).
  • 04. Exercise technique basic strength exercises with   resistors (see Stoppani).
  • 05. Maximal strength and hypertrophy (bodybuilding) Training.
  • 06. Basics of barbell exercises.
  • 07. Development of power endurance   with own body and resistors.
  • 08. Lalactid development of anaerobic endurance (SIT).
  • 09. Development of anaerobic lactic endurance in   cyclic and acyclic sports.
  • 10. Development of mixed aerobic and endurance.
  • 11. Develop coordination skills.

Teaching methods
Practical exercises carried out in the gym, field and outdoor.
Assessment methods
Credits are awarded based on student active participation in practical teaching lessons (2 absences allowed) and a demonstration of the correct technique selected strength or speed workouts - draws students.
