Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to familiarize students with general methods of work with the client in the field of nutrition and lifestyle consultancy. Forward-comprehensive overview of current and used nutritional trends in nutrition     used in the context of lifestyle changes. The student will be able to create a plan lifestyle changes for a client of   general population, athletes, and of   minority groups. He will be able to intervene with the client's therapeutic approaches. The graduate will also be able to assess whether the intervention was successful. Within the subject, the student spends 4 lessons in the selected nutrition counseling.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
1. Understand the basic techniques of working with the client in the field of nutrition and lifestyle of common population, sports populations, minority groups;
2. use basic tools for evaluating work with the client;
3.identify the problem in the current lifestyle or nutrition style of the population of the general population, the sporting population, as well as the minority groups;
4. to suggest, based on a detailed history, a suitable plan to change the nutrition or lifestyle of the client (to explain and apply the proposed measure, to evaluate critical trends in lifestyle changes and to justify their adequacy or inadequacy).

Teaching methods
Lectures and exercises.
Assessment methods
To successfully finish, attendance is required with   max. 2 excused absences. Within the seminar the student passes 2 written tests with   10 questions, the total number of points 40. For successful completion it is necessary to have at least 30 points from each test. Within the semester, the student will have 6 homework tasks in the form of a well prepared case report according to the instructions and the topic assignment. Within the semester there will be a visit and a hearing in the nutrition counseling center (4 hours). The course will be finished by an oral exam and defense of written case reports.
