Course objectives
The aim of the course Fundamentals of diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders III. is to acquaint the students with manual diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. At the same time, students should master basic manual techniques and be able to professionally and successfully applied in practice, and thus their ability to actively search for pathology and to choose a suitable method of therapy. Students also manage to perform client education and training autotherapy.
Syllabus
  • Diagnosis and therapy of skin and subcutaneous tissue in the torso and neck. Diagnosis and treatment of fascia in the torso and neck. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the cervical spine, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and therapy periostových points and muscles in the thoracic and lumbar spine, including relaxation techniques postizometric PIR. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in cranial joints - anteflexe and retroflex. Diagnosis and Therapy - mobilization techniques in cranial joints - lateroflexe and rotation. Diagnosis and Therapy - joint mobilization techniques in the cervical spine. Diagnosis and Therapy - joint mobilization techniques in cervikotorakálního transition and upper ribs. Diagnosis and Therapy - joint mobilization techniques in the thoracic spine - anteflexe and retroflex. Diagnosis and Therapy - joint mobilization techniques in the thoracic spine - lateroflexe and rotation. Diagnosis and Therapy - joint mobilization techniques in the lumbar spine - anteflexe and retroflex. Diagnosis and Therapy - joint mobilization techniques in the lumbar spine - rotary techniques.

Teaching methods
Training is a practical form. Students are first introduced to the issue theoretically, it is also demonstrated their technique correctly and follows its training. During the training of the students and the teacher is checking the correct implementation of correction. Teaching and training is carried out in small study groups.
Assessment methods
Active participation in seminars, practical demonstration of skills. Graded credit.
