Course objectives
• The students will improve and extend their practical coaching, exercise, and didactic skills under the guidance of experienced coaches and trainers (appointed and confirmed by the guarantor of the specialization) • The students will further develop their practical knowledge gained in the course b4630 Trenérsko-metodická praxe 1 • They will prepare and run training sessions following their consultation with coaches and trainers in their respective clubs. • They will analyze training units and exercise sessions. • They will learn how to use Garmin/Polar heart rate sensors • They will learn how to give feedback using a training/match/race video sequence
Learning outcomes
The students will be able to: • prepare and run training sessions and exercise sessions following their consultation with coaches and trainers • run training sessions and exercise sessions under the guidance of assigned trainers • analyze training units and exercise sessions • work with Polar/Garmin heart rate sensors • work with data obtained through the Polar/Garmin heart rate sensor and provide clients with feedback using video recordings
Syllabus
  • Based on their specialization, the students are assigned to sports clubs where they run training and exercise sessions under the guidance of coaches and trainers. The students’ practice consists of 26 lessons per semester, each lesson per 45 min, which corresponds to thirteen 90-minute units. The students prepare a training plan for their whole practice, and they record in detail the process of all training sessions. In order to complete their task successfully, they make use of the knowledge they gained in the course b4630 Trenérsko-metodická praxe 1 in which they've learnt how to use electronic Training Diaries. They will further learn the functions of Garmin/Polar heart rate sensors and how to use them to plan the training process. Students will have an opportunity to borrow sport testers. Study materials will be available in the subjects' study documents.

Assessment methods
The students will submit a record of their attendance at the training sessions (13 pieces, each 90 min). The students will submit performance video analysis of given sport specialization The students will submit the analysis of the selected training session with the use of Garmin/Polar sport tester.
