Course objectives
The aim is to understand the nature of physiotherapy as a specific preventive and therapeutic methods, to understand differentiation of movements, the ability to apply physiotherapy procedures of selected diagnoses. Students will acquire medical information about physical education in surgery, ICU, ARO and burns, as well as obtain information on physiotherapy practice after abdominal and thoracic operations and amputations of the upper and lower limbs, also become familiar with the procedures of the breast after ablation.
Syllabus
  • School back. Activity of daily living, aids Fundamentals of facilitation methodologies - PNF, Bobath, Vojta - definition of basic concepts. Sensorimotor stimulation. Stimulation of proprioception - unstable areas Ball facilitation, taping, joints and spine techniques. The procedures for activation of integrated spinal stabilizing system (ISSS) in local and global movement stereotypes.
