Course objectives
Human resources management: after going through the subject, the student is well versed in the latest conception of HR management, is capable of applying the theoretical principles of recruitment, selection, allocation , motivation and remuneration, training and redundancy of employees in safety sectors. The student is also able to explain the importance of dealing with HR management, and to point out why are the human resources considered to be the factor of competitive advantage in the European Union.
Project management: after successful completion of the subject, the student is capable of creating a project and utilizing the Czech and EU financial resources for funding. The student will be able to draw up the possibilities of exploitation of these financial resources by way of properly elaborated projects within the Czech police force and other safety sectors, within the public and state administration.
Management: After successful completion of the subject the student will be able to:
- interpret the fundamental theoretical knowledge concerning the management
- apply the basic management methods and techniques of making decision to the administration and organization development, to the organization and direction of people and to the execution of the managerial roles.
- analyse the environment of profitable and non-profitable organizations.
