Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- interpret the term "juggling"; to classify juggling within the system of sports-movement psychomotor activities
- learn basic juggling skills with 3 balls and other juggling props
- understand and apply practically methodological principles of juggling
- apply juggling activities (including individual, pair and group activities) in his/her practical work for target group with specific needs
-present basic juggling skills with 3 balls and other juggling props
Syllabus
  • - introduction to basic juggling props (balls, clubs, scarves, plates, diabolos, rings, flower-sticks)
  • -training of juggling technique with 3 balls ( or more - depending on idividual skills of participants) and basic patterns and tricks
  • - juggling in pairs, in a group
  • - connection of juggling and movement
  • - juggling prop and its presenatiton
  • - presentation of juggling - movement skills

Practical seminar
Assessment methods
Active participation.
Final presentation of a juggling sequence of at least 3 tricks with 3 balls. It is possible to present individualy, in pairs or small groups.Music accompaniment may be used. Except for balls other juggling props may be used as well.
