A student should be interested in ice hockey and should have his own practical experience as a player.

Course objectives
To acquire basics of ice hockey (ice hockey systematic, game combination defensive and attacking, techniques, tactics), divided training – attackers, defenders, training at posts, game on the small area in various modifications
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: HK – game combinations – intentional action of two or three players to solve a game situation HK attacking: 1. Pass and go, 2. Crossing, 3. Backward pass, 4. Screening, 5. Leave the puck to another, 6. Movement into empty space HK defensive: 1. covering , 2. taking over, 3. duplication, 4. distance, 5. personal defence Divided training/specialized for attackers and defenders/training at posts Game on a small area/mini hockey – various types of forms and specializations, various modifications, balanced and imbalanced situations/ Divided training/specialized for attackers and defenders Training at posts Game on a small area in modifications Agility Coordination

Teaching methods
Theoretical (lectures) and practical (drills).
Assessment methods
Credit – written test and practical performance on ice rink Exercise. Requirements for credit: 100% active attendance. Passing the written test on theory and didactics of ice hockey and its rules. Realization of methodological task on given theme in a pupils’ category. Writing and submitting a seminar work on given topic.
