Course objectives
The course overviews the theoretical and research issues that currently form the field of new media studies. The students will be well oriented in the key theoretical and research approaches to new media and will be able to apply their knowledge of the problematics in research area.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will:
• know the social theories of contemporary research of new media and their users
• know current research into new media and its topics
• be able to write a theoretical paper drawing on given literature and on the existing research and to formulate a theoretical problem on its basis
