Course objectives
The course introduces to definitions, models and theoretical approaches connected with explanation and functioning of political parties and party systems. The main interest is put on basic terminology of political parties and party systems and their classification. Students will obtain general prospect of these topics in the area of Western Europe and more detailed knowledge about chosen party systems.
