Course objectives
The main objective of the course:
acquainting students with the different versions of the technical solution of management in the newsroom
Syllabus
  • The first part of the course initiates students into the topic. IMTC tutor introduces students to the most used management systems in newsrooms of the world's publishing houses.
  • The second part of the course is based both on the presentation of ATEX, the world's largest supplier of CMS, both on the presentation of a professional lecturer about Open Source and traditional solutions.
  • The third part of the course is a practical course in IMTC newsroom led by lecturers and foreign experts. Students will work with the latest test editorial systems, they learn to control the Open Source systems.

Credit: Students will create their own newspaper / webpage with the modern CMS system, in the traditional way and by using Open Source solutions.
