Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the background kowledge and skills for creating their own TV platform. Students will use their knowledge from previous audiovisual and theory-oriented courses focused on television and audiovisual production. Students will create their own TV newsroom where they will learn how to work in different positions in audiovisual production. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with practical skills in the television production chain, media design, program format, own audiovisual production, audiovisual content production, management, etc. Students will be able to test real-time assignments for university media. They will become acquainted with TV studies, first as students and as mentors who help new colleagues, thanks to the repetitive completion of the course. Students have to submit 3-6 works in the form of reports for the successful completion of the subject. Eventually they take part in the creative work (editing, camera, directing, graphic design/design, etc.). From a practical point of view, students will learn the routine to use production methods, as well as their own independence and responsibility for the final product. The tutor has the role of supervisor of the resulting media format and is responsible for the final grade of students.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge - students will acquire important knowledge from the area of television production, in particular television programming, design and theme of a short TV program, television management, the basics of drama, production and distribution. All this is a practical demonstration of skills and repetition. Students will be able to use television technology in TV production. Practical and functional skills - expands knowledge and skills in the field of audiovisual and TV production, all with respect to the student's professional orientation. The graduate will be able to work in a TV editorial where he/she will go through selected jobs (TV editor, reporter, cameraman, TV production and postproduction, marketing etc.) They will learn how to work with the TV team of the given production group. General Competencies - graudates will learn management, supervision and evaluation of programs in the position of editor-in-chief, dramaturg, director. Graduates will be able to routinely work with all kinds of television technology needed for reportage activity in ordinary television practice.

  • Course Structure: 1. Creating a TV editorial, splitting roles. 2. Competence in the television production chain, from design to media design, program format, own audiovisual production, audiovisual content processing, overhead, television, etc. 3. Creative work on the MUNI TV training platform.
