Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to selected findings of contemporary psychology that are relevant to legal practice.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: orient themselves in selected concepts of psychology discuss selected topics in psychology understand the relevance of psychology to legal thinking

  • Lectures: 1. Introductory lecture 2. Intuition in legal thinking 3. Emotional manipulation vs. argumentation 4. Cognitive biases in legal thinking 5. The problem of free will 6. Psychology of punishment
