Course objectives
The aim of the project is to introduce students to the role of attorney general and his everyday routine. During the lessons the system and function of monitoring the activities of police authority will be explained, with the distinction of the monitoring of the superior attorney general. After explaining the prosecution decision making, students will be asked to draft their own decision of attorney general in preparatory proceedings. Students will be also informed on the basic routine of the office and files management of attorney general.
Syllabus
  • The role and status of attorney general in criminal proceedings, monitoring and supervising activity of attorney general, preparatory criminal proceedings, attorney general's decision making process and legal remedy, appeal's review, shortened preparatory proceedings, agreement on guilt and punishment.
Literature
  • Studijní materiály budou dodávány ad hoc k jednotlivým hodinám dle obsahu výuky. Jedná se o dovednostní předmět, materiály tedy budou zaměřeny aplikačně.
