Course objectives

The aim of the course is to understand the nature and purpose of the procedural administrative law as a part of the administrative law; to gain knowledge about the fundaments and particular legal regulation of specific procedural forms of administrative bodies activity, about the nature of general legal regulation contained in the Administrative Procedure Act in relation to the specific legal regulation, to orientate in the Administrative Procedure Act and its classification, and to understand and apply the basic principles of administrative bodies’ activities.

Syllabus

• The term and foundation of administrative process and procedural administrative law. General and particular regulation of administrative bodies’ procedure. The basic principles of administrative bodies’ activities. The classification of Administrative Procedure Act. The term and legal regulation of administrative proceedings, subjects of administrative proceedings, commencement and course of administrative proceedings, administrative decision. Protection against inactivity of administrative authorities.
