- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to make the beginning postgraduate students acquainted with the basic principles of results presentation of academic research. The students will also learn about other important facts necessary for their academic preparation because in comparison with the international context the demand for systematic preparation of postgraduate students for academic research has been increasing.

- Introduction to science methodology, Ethics of academic research, General principles of scientific communication, types of presentation, lecture, poster, presentation technics, writing technics, practical exercises, Written documents, standard papers, popular papers, books, practical exercises, Publishing in journal from the point of view of editorial practice, Introduction to rhetoric and spoken presentation technics, Writing and evaluation of academic research, Intellectual property and its commercialization, Research financing, grant system of the EU, Grant system, types of grants, Presentation technics, using of computer, Information technology, internet, Modern sources of information for research, The optimal utilization of statistics for data processing, English in academic research, the most frequent mistakes, Analysis and evaluation of selected paper, analysis and evaluation of selected lecture and poster
