Course objectives
Given that the legal regulation of art is a specific area which in the Czech environment is very little researched, there are no Czech academic texts and only a minimum of academic space devoted to it. There is a gap between the needs of the practice and the offer of teaching; both in legal and artistic contexts. The aim of the subject is to respond to the needs of the cultural and artistic world, calling for higher legal awareness of the artistic public. .
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- find and interpret the legal regulations of artistic disciplines;
- understand the political, economic and social context of such regulations;
- apply the acquired skills to solving practical problems of artistic practice.
