Furthermore, the aim is to acquire such knowledge and understanding as will enable the dissertation to include a section dealing with the student's chosen field of study.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will have a detailed knowledge of the material necessary for further study and research in the field of his/her dissertation and will be able to: • - identify areas of focus of the dissertation that have overlap with administrative law theory, or environmental law theory, or financial law theory, or social security law theory • - Identify areas in his/her dissertation that intersect with the student's chosen field of study; • - Identify and describe current domestic and international trends in the field of the dissertation being developed; • - prepare a comprehensive section of the dissertation evaluating the field of approaches in relation to the focus of the thesis; • - prepare a comprehensive part of the dissertation where there is a connection between the student's chosen field and the topic of the thesis.
Syllabus
  • The specific focus of the course may vary depending on the topic of the dissertation. Therefore, the specific content will always be specified within the ISP in agreement between the supervisor and the student so that the content framework is directed towards the writing of a quality part of the dissertation in the theory of administrative law, or the theory of environmental law, or the theory of financial law or the theory of social security law. • Evaluation of performance will be up to the supervisor who will award the grade. However, it is expected that the student will consult the material with other representatives of the disciplines and areas concerned. The curriculum may consist, for example, of the following headings: • - The link between the dissertation topic and the student's chosen field; • - the impact of legal regulation on the student's chosen field; • - principles of the student's chosen field in the area of the dissertation; • - etc.

Teaching methods
The basic teaching method is individual consultations, both with the supervisor and with other departmental staff and experts working in the field of the dissertation.
Assessment methods
The evaluation is assigned by the trainer based on the fulfilment of the pre-agreed content set out in the ISP. Usually, it will be about the elaboration of a comprehensive part of the dissertation dealing with the examined material from the economic point of view or also from the point of view of administrative science. The student prepares in writing and, at least one week before the scheduled date of the colloquium, submits an analytical paper in the range of 8 - 10 standard pages on a sub-topic with a link to the topic of the dissertation. He must be able to defend this work during the credit meeting with the guarantor of the subject.
