Course objectives
The aim of this course is to present the contemporary development of information and communication technologies in the public administration. National (Polish) provisions will be presented and analysed in relation to the European regulation of the e-government. The course will focus on the two aspects of the e-government: spheres of e-government (public records, e-public procurement) and safety of use of information and communication technologies systems.

Teacher's information
Maciej Błażewski is an assistant professor at the University of Wrocław, Section of Administrative Law. He obtained master’s degree and doctoral degree in administrative law in Poland. He is doing researches on e-government and the construction law. He is author of i.e. scientific articles: E-administracja jako narzędzie komunikacji w procesie budowlanym (E-government as a communication mechanism in the construction process) and Antywartości jako bariery rozwoju e-administracji (Anti-values as obstacles to the development of e-government). He is also author of monographs: Polski proces budowlany (Polish construction process), Zasada ochrony uzasadnionych interesów osób trzecich w procesie budowlanym (The principle of protection of legal interests of third parties in the construction process).
